Research Field

The discovery of microbial drugs against infection, tumor and hyperlipemia

Research Interests

Dr. Xie has been engaged in the discovery of microbial drugs, especially those against infection, tumor and hyperlipemia: On the basis of traditional bioassay-guided method, she has established a more efficient platform for the discovery of new leading compounds by the combination of new technologies such as genome sequencing, bioinformatics, synthetic biology and metabolomics.
