Research Field

Medicinal chemistry and chemobiological studies on anti-bacterial and anti-tumor drugs

Research Interests

Dr. Li has been engaged in medicinal chemistry and Chemical Biology. On one hand, she is engaged in searching for innovative drug candidates by the rational modification and optimization of Chinese natural quinolizidine alkaloids, for example, matrine and aloperine, and clarifying their anti-tumor and anti-metabolic biological activities, chemical biological mechanisms and chemical basis. On the other hand, she has devoted herself to the chemical biology of antibacterial agent. She is interested in explaining of antimicrobial resistance mechanism through chemibiological methods, so as to find new antimicrobial candidates.
